With a strategy and potential partners in place, we then develop a plan specific to the project - whether it entails manufacturing,
marketing or elements of both.
Manufacturing
For manufacturing, our strategy has already determined the best geographic location - and whether multiple locations and factories are necessary.
Next, the logistics of delivering raw materials, the layout of the production lines, the quality control points, the level of productivity required and delivery of the finished
products must be developed. Every detail of the plan is thoroughly prepared and reviewed. The two main areas of project failure rest in poor planning and poor execution.
Marketing
For marketing, we have already identified the target customer and the competitors. With the market information gathered in the market analysis stage, we now determine our sales goals and develop a
sales plan - including the professional sales force and other marketing tools that may be necessary. |
